Q. Who usually sells their houses to The W.C. Featherstone Company?
A. Many different people!

Q. What is an "ugly" house?
A. Any house in need of repair is what we mean by "ugly" house. Sometimes people find themselves in an "ugly situation," i.e. loss of a job, divorce, etc., and they must sell their house quickly and for cash. The W.C. Featherstone Company uses its own CASH to buy properties. ↑up

Q. How does the process work?
A. Just fill out the Property Information Form telling us about the property you want to sell. The information about your property will be reviewed and analyzed by an Owner/Investor at The W.C. Featherstone Company. You will be promptly contacted to arrange a time to view your property. ↑up

Q. Do you pay market value?
A. Any offer you receive will be an amount discounted from the retail value of your house if it was fully renovated. The W.C. Featherstone Company buys properties below market value for a profit. However, we close quickly, pay cash, and usually pay the escrow fee. ↑up

Q. How do you determine the price you will offer for my house?
A. Considerations include the condition of the house and the extent and cost of renovations required, the time required to complete the renovations, and the repaired value of the house when compared to houses in the same area. Also considered are the costs in real estate sales commissions to market the house, as well as the costs of insurance, utilities, taxes, loan payments incurred to buy the house, and maintenance costs while the house is being renovated and offered for sale. ↑up

Q. Do you buy condos or townhouses?
A. The W.C. Featherstone Company will buy houses, condos, townhouses, duplexes, multi-tenant buildings and different types of commercial properties. ↑up

Q. Do you charge a fee to make an offer for my house?
A. No fee is ever charged by The W.C. Featherstone Company to view and/or make an offer for your house. ↑up

Q. When I fill out and submit the Property Information Form containing information about the house I have to sell, am I obligated in any way?
A. You are under no obligation at all. All we ask for is the opportunity to make an offer for your house. You decide if the offer works for you. ↑up

Q. I see several companies claiming to buy houses in any condition. Are these companies associated with The W.C. Featherstone Company?
A. No! The W.C. Featherstone Company is a fully independent company utilizing our own cash for the acquisition of Maryland real estate. ↑up
